Itinerary

 

Day 1 :- Gaya - Bodhgaya

 

Upon arrival in Gaya, you will be transferred to the hotel  to relax. Later, embark on a sightseeing tour of Mahabodhi Temple , Thai Temple and Bodhi Tree, Tibet Temple Burmese Temple, Japanese Temple and 80 ft statue of the budha. Stay overnight in the hotel.

 

Day 2 :- Bodhgaya - Rajgir 15 km Nalanda - Patna

 

Having breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Patna. On the way, explore the attractions of Rajgir the ancient capital of Bihar,visit places Jarashand ka Akhara, Jivakameavan Garden ,Ajatshatru Fort, Cyclopean Wall, Shanti Stupa, Venu Vana, Karanda Tank, Shonbhandar Caves,Veerayatan, Jain Temple, Chariot Route Marks, Hot Springs, Pippala cave, Swarn Bhandar,Gridhakuta, and Nalanda- the acncient Nalanda Archaeological Museum Open during 10 to 5 Closed on Friday, Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Indian university. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for night stay.

 

Day 3 :- Patna Vaishali Kushinagar

 

Post breakfast in the morning, drive towards Kushinagar. on the way,visit Vaishali,which has its connection with the Hindu epic Ramayana.And local places Ashoka pillar,Bawan Pokhar Temple, Budha Stupa Kundalpur, Raja Vishal ka Ghar, Shanti Stupa, upon arrival, chckin at the hotel for night stay.

 

Day 4 :- Kushinagar - Varanasi

 

Post breakfast in the morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kushinagar covering the Mahaparinirvana temple,Kushinagar Museum,Ramabhar Stupa,Sun Temple and thai temple. Later, drive towards Varanasi. Stay overnight in the hotel.

 

Day 5 :- Varanasi

 

Early morning, around 5 am , enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges in Varanasi.Post breakfast, visit Sarnath,where the celebrated Buddhist chant  "Buddham Sharanam Gachhami " came into existence. in the afternoon, explore the sights of Varanasi which include the Viswanath Temple & the Durga Temple and the Benaras Hindu university.and Bharat mata Temple (mother India Temple) Stay overnight in the hotel.

 

Day 6 :- Varanasi Departure

 

Having breakfast in the morning you will be transferred to the railway station or the airport to board back home.

Itinerary

 

Day 1 :- Varanasi Bodh Gaya

 

 

Arrive at Bodhgaya, and transfer to the hotel.Bodh Gaya is the place of the Buddh's Enlightenment and  spritual home of Buddhists. It attracts many belivers from  all over the  worlds . Bodh Gaya situated near the River Niranjana is one of the holiest  Buddhist Pilgrimage centres and in the second place for four holy sites in Buddhism. The Temple Named after the  Buddha, is a sacred Place for Buddhists in Bodhgaya,  Maha Bodhi Tree,The Tree is considered  Holy since Lord Buddha attained enlightenment under it. Also visit  Monasteries of defferent countries and Archaeological Museum. Mahabudhi Temple, Great Budha statue, Thai Monastery, Indosan Nippon Japanese Temple, Chinese Temple  Burmese Vihar Monastery, Overnight stay at Bodhgaya in the hotel.

 

Day 2 :- Bodh Gaya - Rajgir - Nalanda -Patna

 

Morning leave Bodh Gaya for Patna, enroute visiting Rajgir and Nalanda. Rajgir is a site of great sanctity and significance for Buddhists.Rajgir is an important Buddhists pilgrimage site since the Buddha spent 12  years here and first Buddhist council after the Buddha  was hosted here at the Saptaparni  caves.Afternoon Gridhakuta Hill, Bimbisar jail. Vishwa Shanti Stupa, Swarn Bhandar, Chariot Mark, Navlakha Jain, Temple Veerayatan, and hot spring.Drive to Nalanda which is 14 km drive and it was one of the oldest Universites of the World and  International Centre for Buddhist Studies.  Drive to Patna which is 90 kms, on arrival at Patna  transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 3 ;- Patna - Vaishali Kushinagar

 

Morning proceed to Kushinagar (approx 245 kms) enroute visiting Vaishali place where  Lord Buddha announce d the approching of his Mahaparinirvana,Ashokan Pillar, Buddha Stupa. After that continue drive to Kushinagar  (place where Lord Buddha had left the world behind  him  after offering an invaluable contribution to humanity, the great riligion known as Buddhism). On arrival Kushinagar , transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit Mahaparinirvana Temple where Buddha took  his last breathe and Rambhar stupa cremation site of Lord Buddha. Overnight in Kushinagar.

 

Day 4 :- Kushinagar - Lumbini

 

Morning drive to Lumbini the birth place of Lord Buddha 180 km , on arrival transfer to the hotel. Afternoon visit  the birth place of Buddha - Mayadevi Temple. This place is a blessed one for its serenity and the natural beauty, purely coinciding to the perception of place where  the legend  was born. overnight in Lumbini.

 

Day 5 :- Lumbini Kapilavastu Sravasti

 

After breakfast leave for Sravasti 225 kms enroute  visiting Kapilavastu the Childhood home of Goutam Buddha. After that proceed to Sravasti where the Buddha preached most of his sermons. Herehe is said to have performd many miracles, and levitated. During the monsoon, he used to stay at the jetavana monastery on the outskirts of this town.Overnight stay in Sravasti.

 

Day 6 :- Sravasti - Varansi

 

In the morning Visit sahet Mahet and Angulimal cave`slater proceed  to Varanasi 300 kms one of   the oldest living cities of the  world. On arrival in  Varanasi visit  ganga Ghat for world famous Ganga Arti. Overnight in Varanasi. 

 

Day 7 : Varanasi

 

Early morning boat ride at River Ganges to View Sunrise,post breakfast then visit to Sarnath12 kms from varanasi city. Sarnath where celebrated Buddhis chant."Buddham  Sharanam Gachhami"Came into Existence.Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha  had preched his first sermon to five disciples after attainning enlightenment. Visit to Dhamekh stupa one of the most visited and most revered Buddhist shrines in the world. Also visit Sarnath museum where lots of staues are kept which found in dugging from Dhamekh stupa compound. Also visit Thai temple and main Mahabodhi temple of Sarnath. In evening back to Varanasi. Overnight in Varanasi.

 

Day 8 :-  Varanasi Departure

 

Having breakfast in the  Morning you will be departurred railway or Airport for onward journey with nice memory of Buddha.
