Next morning, we will do the Lake Mansarovar parikrama of 110 kms in 2 hrs and rest will be completed after returning from Kailash trek to complete the entire radius of Mansarovar lake. These are the best moments for us to mesmerize the aura of holy Kailash and Lake Mansarovar, the mission of the yatra. We would also come across Rakshas taal, where people leave there clothes and belongings and pray to God to take their sins of this birth and bless them. Besides this, you can also visit Chiu Gompa monastery situated on the hillock near guest house. We will have our dinner and halt.

Our accompanying team member will assist you if any support is required by the pilgrims. After finishing holy bath and puja, and taking lunch, we make short drive to Darchen. Darchen is actually the administrative point of Kailash region with very basic development in infrastructure and resources and also considered as the base area of Mt. Wake up early morning before sunrise and take quick light breakfast and get ready to begin your parikrama towards next hault at Zuthulphuk. This day is the toughest day of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The trek follows the path of steep climb continuously to Dolma  La high pass (5600m) for about 4 hours and then flat valley for about 3 hours (the longest trek of about 10 hours approximately). At the top of Dolma La, you will find a place called Shivasthal that is covered with holy flags and personal things like clothes and ornaments. It is a belief amongst Tibetans that these offerings clear all of their sins and pave way to attain moksha after death. You will be given packed lunch before starting of the trek in the morning. After crossing Dolma La pass, you will see Gauri Kund at downhill at the right side of your path. Further walking down for a while, we will take break for our lunch. The route is quite windy and with high pass and tough terrains. This downhill trail is not easy due to loose rocks and stones, so we should walk very carefully, after that its easy trail till Zuthulphuk. Please note, the travellers who are horse riding should also need to walk for 2 to 3 hours in between trekking. In Zuthulphuk, we will have guesthouse or fixed tent with bed and warm blanket similar as in Diraphuk. We will have our dinner and have a good night sleep.

Day 10   End of parikrama near Darchen and drive back to Dongba

This is our last day of trek and we proceed for a short trek about 2.5 hours and descend down after completing morning rituals, light breakfast and begin trekking to descend Darchen town.
